Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency brings strong expertise in energy and climate planning, spatial energy modelling and community engagement to MultiRoofs. Working closely with Dublin’s four local authorities, Codema supports the region’s transition towards a low-carbon future by improving energy efficiency, promoting renewable energy and delivering innovative climate and energy projects. Its experience in evidence-based energy analysis, project development and stakeholder engagement provides a strong foundation for exploring how Dublin’s rooftops can contribute to wider climate objectives.
Within MultiRoofs, Codema leads the Dublin pilot, acting as the main link between the project and Dublin’s local authorities. The organisation contributes local data and expertise in energy planning and spatial modelling to the development of the MultiRoofs Digital Twin and will test the tool in the Dublin context to identify suitable rooftops and opportunities for transformation. Codema also coordinates the development and testing of financial incentives for public and private property owners, helping turn the project’s insights into concrete rooftop projects. In addition, Codema leads capacity-building and training activities in Dublin, supporting the transfer of MultiRoofs knowledge and solutions to local authorities across Ireland.
